My Current Skincare & Beauty Routine

What I’m Using, Loving, and Recommending Right Now

Hi! I hope you’re weathering the storms out there. Although I live in Miami, I’ve recently traveled to some very cold destinations, and the combination of freezing outdoor temperatures and overly dry indoor heating has left my skin dehydrated and dull.

Because of that, I thought this would be the perfect time to share my current skincare and beauty routine, including tried-and-true staples and newer products I’ve been fortunate enough to test (and can confidently recommend). I’m not loyal to just one brand, I truly believe in using what works, and these are the products currently earning a spot in my routine.

Below, I’ve organized everything by category and listed products in order of use where applicable.

Hair Tool I’m Loving

Shark Ninja Hair Tool:I do regularly pay for blowouts (I even have a subscription at my local Blo Blow Dry Bar), but this tool has saved me more than once.

Shark sent this to me to test, and I genuinely love it. I actually find it easier to use, and more affordable, than its higher-priced competitor. Every time I use it, I get compliments on my hair. My daughter has also used it to straighten and gloss her hair, and she received so many comments on how shiny it looked. If you want a salon-worthy blowout at home, this tool delivers.

Skincare Tool

Dermaflash:This is one of my favorite skincare tools. It gently removes the top dull layer of skin along with peach fuzz, which instantly creates a smoother, brighter complexion. It also allows your serums and moisturizers to penetrate more effectively, making your entire skincare routine work better. It truly creates the perfect canvas for glowing skin.

My Current Skincare Routine (In Order of Use)

I’m constantly testing products, and the ones below are newer additions that I feel very confident recommending. I’ve listed them in the order I use them.

1. Cleanse

Oak Essentials Gel Cleanser:This was a pleasant surprise. It goes on beautifully, smells amazing, and leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling stripped.

2. Double Cleanse / Exfoliate

YSE Exfoliating Pads: I love YSE products (and Molly Sims!). After cleansing, I use these pads to ensure every bit of makeup is removed. We all know one cleanse is rarely enough. The pads are generously sized, making it easy to swipe once across your entire face.

Eadem Skin Toner & Exfoliator:I talk about this product often because it’s truly a standout. It’s a 2-in-1 toner and exfoliator that I use morning and night with a cotton pad after cleansing. It simplifies the routine while delivering results.

3. Serum

Counter Tri-Luronic Hydrating Serum:I’ve always loved Counter products, and this serum is a favorite. It applies beautifully and hydrates without leaving that sticky, tacky feeling behind. Hydration without heaviness is key for me.

4. Moisturize

INNBEAUTY Extreme Cream: I’ve been using this for about two weeks, and it’s currently my favorite nighttime cream, and a fraction of the price of my longtime luxury favorite. It gives my skin a gorgeous glow, so I’ve actually been using it during the day as well. It’s marketed as firming and lifting, and while I’ll need more time to evaluate long-term results, I can confidently say I love how it feels and looks.

Body Care Favorite

Oak Essentials Body Lotion:I don’t typically use scented lotions, but this one completely changed my mind. It smells incredible and feels luxurious, like stepping out of a spa treatment. It honestly makes you wish you were getting a massage every time you apply it.

Makeup + SPF Hybrid Favorite

YSE Skin Glow Primer + SPF: I am truly in love with this product. On days I’m working from home or heading to a workout class, this is the only thing I wear on my face. No additional sunscreen, no foundation. It gives the skin a beautiful glow and light coverage, making me feel polished without wearing full makeup. It’s designed as both a primer and SPF, but I often wear it alone with just lip gloss, mascara, a little blush, and I’m out the door.

Daytime Hydration Bonus

Sarah Creal Moisture Source: This is my all-day hydration hero. If I’m working from home, I’ll apply this throughout the day to keep my skin hydrated. It’s especially helpful for anyone living in colder climates where moving between freezing outdoor air and heated indoor air can wreak havoc on your skin. If I’m wearing light makeup, I’ll gently tap this over my skin to freshen and rehydrate without disrupting everything underneath.

Final Thoughts

Skincare and beauty don’t have to be complicated, but they should be intentional. Between travel, climate shifts, and daily life, our skin is constantly adjusting, and having a thoughtful routine makes all the difference.

These are the products currently working beautifully for me, some gifted, some long-time staples, but all thoroughly tested and loved.

Glowing, hydrated skin is always in!
